About Hon. Tabitha Mutinda
Tabitha Mutinda is a Kenyan politician, entrepreneur and advocate for women’s empowerment who serves as a Nominated Senator in the Senate of Kenya. She has built a reputation around public finance, economic development, gender inclusion and environmental sustainability. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Finance and Budget Committee.
Beyond politics, Mutinda has a strong background in business and entrepreneurship and serves as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of Novamont Kenya Limited. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nairobi and has pursued doctoral studies in Business Administration.
Her leadership has also extended to the international stage. In 2025, she was elected to the Board of Governance of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, representing East Africa. Through her work in Parliament and other leadership roles, she continues to advocate for accountable governance, women’s participation, economic opportunity and sustainable development.
