About Hon. Faith Odhiambo
Faith Mony Odhiambo is a Kenyan lawyer, academic and governance advocate serving as the President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK). She was elected to the position in February 2024, becoming the 51st President of the Society and the second woman in Kenya’s history to hold the office.
Before becoming President, Odhiambo served as Vice President of the Law Society of Kenya and as the Society’s Nairobi Representative. She has built a strong reputation for defending constitutional rights, promoting the rule of law and speaking out on matters of justice, accountability and good governance.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law with European Law from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Certified Public Secretary.
Through her leadership at the Law Society of Kenya, Faith Odhiambo has emerged as one of the country’s prominent voices on human rights, professional integrity, access to justice and the independence of Kenya’s legal institutions.
